Friendly phone call, quick preparation. The gentleman at the delivery window was very nice and was really happy about our order. Food was delicious and just the right portion. Gladly again!

The food was delicious. However, the ambience does not suggest South Tyrol. I didn't like that that much.

This restaurant is my insider tip !!!! The dishes taste wonderful, are deliciously seasoned and very, very beautifully presented!

Hospitable staff. Great food (compliments to the chef) Excellent service. A nice place for an evening out where it would be good to dim the lights, do something about the echo in the house and add some spices and furnishings to create atmosphere.

Centrally located in the middle of Kandern. Very friendly and attentive staff. Clear menu, reasonable prices and very tasty dishes. I've been there several times and would love to come back.

Cold and cold again. Roast beef cold and tasteless. The beef steak is not recommended at all, firstly, it certainly does not come from Argentina solely because of its taste and secondly, it is also served on vegetables soaked in oil. The plates are cold and so is the food. The salad dressing from the bottle could be the same as Penny's pity. The ambience was very cold and it was like being in a train station hall. Room temperature was very cool which fits the ambience. The only thing that was reasonably good is the taste of the risotto but unfortunately overcooked. The service was very helpful. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Thank you once and not again.

First of all, the service was very helpful and nice. The restaurant is not really inviting and nothing South Tyrol. The menu is about a third of South Tyrol and not really great, so I don't really find the place to be recommended, as sorry as I am.

Very nice people and very clean service

A really nice inn. The food you get here is South Tyrolean and very hearty. Here you notice that there is a different concept to that in other inns. You can see that e.g. that the cook personally comes to the table and gets feedback. If you give the cook feedback, you really saw how Freud was. In our opinion, this gesture gives this inn a very personal touch. What is also to be mentioned is that we got a grapper on the house. Many thanks again. Keep it up!!

A lot of meat price performance ok. Nice service

My reviews are based on what food is available for keto/low carb/diabetics. Though the restaurant is bright, spacious and the owners are friendly I find the menu itself not that interesting. I ordered eventually a Sud Tirol Schnitzel and my Rostkartoffel were eaten by my wife who was not having dinner. The meat was thin, cheese and some Shinken on top, served with lemon. Only half way the meal I realized I had to squeeze the lemon on the meat!?! Agree: it tasted better. Was offered an Amaretto at the end from the friendly cook when we paid. From the full house I can see that it offers what many like but for me the choice and price was just okay. Nearby parking at NKD available. Maybe I need to try another dish again though as a low carb eater the choices are limited. (In all of this region for that matter)

We have eaten there several times since it opened in January 2020 and have never been disappointed! Very friendly and attentive staff, which also gladly accepts suggestions. And Kaiserschmarrn for dessert is simply a MUST, highly recommended!

Newly opened restaurant with South Tyrolean and Baden cuisine. The reception and the staff were very friendly. The rooms are bright, friendly and open. There is little decoration and the temperature in the old building was rather cool. The menu is small but nice, there is something for everyone. We found the shepherd's maccheroni, the bacon dumpling soup and the Kaiserschmarrn to be very tasty. The veal had run out on the day of our visit, the replacement meat was unfortunately of poor quality. . We will therefore give the Tyrolean veal schnitzel a second chance. It was positive that the cook personally took the time for the guests and actively got feedback. The toilets were clean.
